China Classification Society (CCS) is a unit directly under the Ministry of Transport of the Peoples Republic of China. It is also the only global professional technical inspection institution in China engaged in the inspection of ships, offshore facilities and containers and their materials, equipment, statutory inspection and fair inspection, as well as their certification and accreditation services.
