China Classification Society Quality Certification Co., Ltd. (CCSC) was established on January 8, 1993. It is one of the earliest institutions to carry out management system certification in China. It was approved by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) in 2002. The CCSC has 32 branches, one technology center, five professional centers and one wholly-owned subsidiary nationwide, it is a comprehensive certification inspection and testing professional organization integrating management system certification, industrial product inspection, green and low-carbon services, product certification, container inspection, safety technology services, service certification, product testing, wind power certification and technical services, barrier-free/age-friendly product and service certification, and ESG services.
CCSC is a pioneer in Chinas management system certification, green and low-carbon services, wind power certification, barrier-free environment certification, international railway industry standards (IRIS) and other fields, and is also an institution authorized by the state to engage in the legal inspection of containers. Accredited and authorized by China National Accreditation Committee for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), national ministries and commissions, United Nations Clean Development Mechanism Executive Board (CDM), United Kingdom Royal Accreditation Commission (UKAS), International Electrotechnical Commission Renewable Energy Equipment Certification Mutual Recognition System (IECRE), Global Wind Energy Organization (GWO), European Union of Railways (UNIFE) and other organizations, it has more than 40 kinds of qualifications, such as system certification, product certification, container inspection, special equipment testing, standardized assessment of production safety in the transportation industry, voluntary emission reduction of greenhouse gases, and national railway product certification, and has been recognized as a high-tech enterprise.
CCSC has always fulfilled the mission of "enabling customer development and building social trust with independent and impartial professional services". CCSC performed well in the evaluation of "2024 Certification Body High Quality Development Report", with 18 indicators on the list, ranking first in the industry and leading in six dimensions. All 3 core quality indicators are on the list, ranking among the industry quality benchmarks with 11 peers. In the five major certification fields, it is firmly in the forefront with solid brand strength. In terms of innovation, all the five innovation indicators rank first in the industry matrix.
