System certification

China Classification Society Quality Certification Co., Ltd. (CCSC) boasts a substantial portfolio of high-quality clients, primarily comprising large state-owned enterprises and listed companies. We have cultivated a team of full-time auditors that is professionally comprehensive, highly experienced, and technically proficient, providing high‑level certification services across a wide range of sectors, including metals, machinery, electronics, electrical engineering, shipbuilding and ship repair, transportation, design, construction, oil and petrochemicals, finance, and trade. Service Certification

CCSC is one of the earliest organizations to engage in the research and development of service certification technologies, and it served as the primary drafting body for the international standard ISO/IEC TR 17028, Conformity assessment — Guidelines and examples of a certification scheme for services, as well as the corresponding national standard GB/T 27205, Conformity assessment — Guidelines and examples for service certification schemes.

Product certification

CCSC is approved by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA) and accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). It conducts product certification in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065, covering such sectors as new energy, green environmental protection, transportation, rail transit, and accessibility facilities.

Industrial product inspection

CCSC holds the “Inspection Body Accreditation Certificate” issued by the National Accreditation Body, the “Class A Equipment Supervision Unit Certificate” issued by the China Association of Plant and Equipment Supervision, the “Approval Certificate for Special Equipment Non-Destructive Testing Institutions” issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the “Certificate for Inspection and Appraisal Institutions of Import and Export Commodities” issued by the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.

Container inspection

China Classification Society (CCS) is an institution directly affiliated with the Ministry of Transport of the Peoples Republic of China, and it is also China’s sole global professional technical inspection organization engaged in the inspection, statutory surveys, and impartial surveys of ships, offshore facilities, and containers, as well as their materials and equipment, along with certification and accreditation services.

Security business

CCSC is dedicated to the research and practical application of safety management, risk control, and related technologies. It has participated in the development of a series of policies, specifications, and standards for the transportation sector, accumulating extensive theoretical and practical experience and playing a positive role in enhancing safety within the industry.

Green and low-carbon

CCSC is one of the earliest third-party organizations in China to engage in the green and low-carbon sector. Over nearly three decades, it has evolved from providing validation and verification services for Clean Development Mechanism projects and energy-saving‑quantity audits to becoming a specialized institution with a broad portfolio of services—covering certification and auditing, assessment and evaluation, technical services, training, and scientific research—in areas such as energy conservation, low-carbon emissions reduction, green development, and environmental protection, all underpinned by strong interdisciplinary integration. At present, the organization has established 32 branch offices and assembled a team of over 150 professionals specializing in green and low-carbon initiatives, creating a nationwide service network.

Testing services

In 2016, CCSC was assessed and accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) for its laboratory and as a CMA‑accredited inspection and testing organization. On December 27, 2016, it obtained the CNAS Laboratory Accreditation Certificate, enabling it to conduct load, power, power quality, and noise tests on wind turbine generators, as well as energy efficiency‑related tests on industrial electric heating equipment, air compressors, lighting systems, and power supply and distribution systems.

Vocational Education and Training

Animal Welfare Assessment

The third-party assessment conducted by the CCSC in collaboration with the International Committee for the Coordination of Animal Welfare (ICCAW). By undergoing animal welfare assessments, organizations can demonstrate that their farming, transportation, and slaughter practices comply with relevant principles, standards, and legal regulations, thereby ensuring the quality and safety of the animal-derived food they produce.
