On 9 1, 2024, on the first anniversary of the formal implementation of the the Peoples Republic of China barrier free environment construction law, the barrier free environment construction think tank released 100 landmark and exemplary achievements of high-quality development of barrier free environment construction, and publicized them to the whole society. The 100 achievements include the achievements of the rule of law policy, cultural and educational achievements, promotion and application achievements, intelligent science and technology innovation achievements and international exchange achievements, among which the barrier-free environment certification achievements (11) were selected. Among the 11 barrier-free environment certification results, China Classification Society Quality Certification Co., Ltd. (CCSC) occupies 9 projects, including 7 three-star projects and 2 two-star projects.
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping has put forward a series of new concepts, new ideas, and new requirements for the construction of barrier-free environment, which provides a fundamental basis for promoting the construction of barrier-free environment. With the rapid development of Chinas economy and society, governments at all levels have greatly promoted the construction of barrier free environment from the perspective of protecting peoples livelihood, safeguarding the rights of the disabled and promoting the progress of social civilization.
In order to fully implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinpings important instructions on the construction of barrier-free environment, give full play to the role of quality certification, improve the level of barrier-free environment construction, reflect humanistic care, and promote social equity, China has issued relevant laws and policies on barrier-free environment certification. On 9 1 last year, the the Peoples Republic of China Law on the Construction of Barrier-free Environment was formally implemented, in which Article 53 "the State shall establish and improve the certification of barrier-free designs, facilities, products and services and the evaluation system of barrier-free information, and promote the adoption and application of results." It is clear that quality certification is an important safeguard measure for the construction of barrier-free environment, which provides a solid legal guarantee for the certification of barrier-free environment. Through barrier-free environment certification, we will promote the high-quality development of barrier-free environment construction in China.
As the first batch of certification institutions to obtain the national barrier-free environment certification qualification, CCSC has not forgotten its original intention for more than a year, keeping in mind its mission, and actively playing the mission of "transmitting trust and serving development" in the certification and accreditation industry, and has achieved in the field of barrier-free environment certification. Certain achievements have won a good reputation and made important contributions.
