Recently, the caring student aid team formed by Xinjiang Branch, Gansu Branch, Shanxi Branch, Inner Mongolia Branch and other employees, with deep concern for children in poor mountainous areas, once again extended a helping hand to childrens education in Aoli Village, Congjiang County, Guizhou Province, near the start of the school season in September. This assistance, combined with the "Cultural Festival" activities of the local village committee, set up and awarded a special scholarship of 10200 yuan to local poor children to help them complete their studies and light up their dreams of studying.
On the way to an inspection business three years ago, Nie Guotao of the Xinjiang branch learned that most children in Aoli Village, Congjiang County, Guizhou Province were facing dropout due to family poverty, and he actively contacted the local Development and Reform Commission cadres and village committees. Contact; after work, he learned in detail about the childrens learning situation, family difficulties and actual needs. Since then, the love team was officially established, and the members actively called on everyone to give their love. Once this initiative was issued, it received a warm response from the employees of the Xinjiang branch and various brother branches. Everyone extended a helping hand to help children in mountainous areas complete their studies.
Over the past three years, the caring student aid team led by Xinjiang Branch has been growing. At present, it has covered 13 employees of Xinjiang Branch, Gansu Branch, Shanxi Branch and Inner Mongolia Branch, and 18 personnel of national pipeline network and related parties. The caring team has always adhered to the concept of "being grateful to the society and giving back to the society", actively devoted itself to the cause of public welfare education, continued to support poor schools, successively funded three local schools, and carried out various scholarship and student assistance activities. More than 200 poor children in schools have been subsidized, and a total of 81000 yuan has been completed, helping more than 10 mountain children get out of the mountains through their studies.
The caring student aid team not only provides material help to children in poor mountainous areas, but also gives them spiritual comfort and encouragement.
