On August 2, Chengdu Ecological Environment Bureau held a summary meeting on the third-party verification of carbon emission data of key enterprises in the city. Sichuan Branch attended the meeting and made a summary report on the work.
In December 2018, Sichuan Branch successfully won the bid for Package 5 of Chengdu Economic Information Centers "Third Party Verification of Carbon Emission Data of Chengdu Emission Control Enterprises. In March 2019, Chengdu Ecological Environment Bureau issued the notice on carrying out the third-party verification of carbon emission data of key expansion enterprises (Chenghuanfa [2019] No. 95), officially launched the verification work, and issued the notice on supplementary third-party verification of carbon emission data of key expansion enterprises in June 2019 to supplement the verification requirements. After multi-party coordination, detailed planning and careful implementation, with the support of the companys headquarters and brother branches, Sichuan Branch has successively completed the on-site verification of 40 key enterprises in two batches, and delivered the verification results on time with good quality and quantity. The qualified rate of the review report reached 100, and the work results were well received by the competent department.
Through the smooth implementation of the project, the technical level and service quality of energy conservation and emission reduction business of Sichuan Branch have been highly recognized by the competent authorities. The work results provide effective basic information for Chengdu to connect with the national carbon market and enhance the ability of low-carbon development.
