From July 6 to 7, China Classification Society Quality Certification Co., Ltd. (CCSC) was invited to provide FMEA quality tool training and application guidance for CITIC Heavy Industry Machinery Co., Ltd. Nearly 230 R & D technicians from 12 units of the company, including mining research institute, innovation institute, engineering technology company, heavy casting and forging company, automation company, riveting and welding component factory and mining machinery factory, attended the guidance meeting.
Potential failure mode and consequence analysis (Failure Modeand Effects Analysis, referred to as FMEA) is in the planning and design stage of products/processes/services, etc., to analyze each subsystem, component, process and service program one by one, find out the potential failure mode, analyze its possible consequences and evaluate its risks, so as to take measures in advance to reduce the severity of failure mode, systematic activities to reduce the probability of its possible occurrence in order to effectively improve quality and reliability and ensure customer satisfaction.
Li Lan, consultant of CCSC Risk Center, explained "the significance of quality management in the design process, quality risk management, concepts related to product family, basic knowledge of FMEA and the new version of FMEA analysis method" and other contents, and carried out D-FMEA application guidance through project practice, and completed the first version of the D-FMEA report.
CCSC strives to expand the quality risk management business, further improve the construction ability of ISO9001 quality management system, cultivate the application ability of customer FMEA in the design and development process, strengthen the awareness of quality risk, and help customers to develop high-quality and sustainable development.
