On the first anniversary of the implementation of the Accessible Environment Construction Law, Aug. 28 on the same day, the opening ceremony of the National Barrier-free Environment Exhibition Hall with the theme of "Barrier-free in Great America and China" was held at the Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall. CCSC party Secretary, Chairman Tian Wei was invited to attend the event.
National Barrier-free Environment Exhibition Hall (hereinafter referred to : exhibition Hall) is located in the Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall. It was jointly built by the China Disabled Volunteers Association and the Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall. It took nearly two years to build. The exhibition hall shows the national "big feelings" with barrier-free "small incision" , fully implement the important instructions of General Secretary Jinping, implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, implement the national "14th Five-Year Plan" outline, and continue to promote the high-quality development of barrier-free environment construction ; publicize and popularize my countrys "Barrier-Free Environment Construction Law", showcase the development achievements of barrier-free environment construction, promote the concept of barrier-free humanities, advocate barrier-free civilization awareness, spread barrier-free scientific and technological knowledge, and cultivate barrier-free demonstration results.
The construction of the exhibition hall conforms to the national "barrier free design code" GB50763-2012 general Code for Accessibility of Building and Municipal Engineering GB55019-2021 and Evaluation Standard for Barrier-free Facilities of Civil Buildings T/CNAEC1304-2022, CCSC after on-site review, it meets the national barrier-free environment certification of three stars (the highest level). Activity site, CCSC tian Wei, secretary of the party committee and chairman of the board, issued a barrier-free environment certification certificate and awarded the license to the China Disabled Volunteers Association and the Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall.
At this opening ceremony, Cheng Kai, chairman of the China Disabled Persons Federation, delivered a video speech. Leaders from the Social Construction Committee of the National Peoples Congress, the Beijing Municipal Government, and the Beijing Municipal Planning and Nature Committee attended and delivered speeches.
