On July 4, China Classification Society Quality Certification Co., Ltd. (CCSC) received a formal notice from VERRA, the competent authority of VCS mechanism. CCSC, as a designated operating entity (CDM DOE) recognized by the Executive Board of Clean Development Mechanism (UNFCCC-EB-CDM) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, has obtained the extension approval of the qualification of VCS certification and verification agency and can continue to provide customers with third-party certification and verification services for VCS projects within the scope recognized by VERRA.
CCSC, as one of the most active greenhouse gas certification and verification institutions at home and abroad, it holds the designated operational entity (DOE) for the United Nations Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project, the gold standard (GS) project validation verification agency authorized by the Gold Standard Committee, the validation verification agency for VCS and CCB projects authorized by VERRA, the ISCC certification agency approved by the International Sustainable Development and Carbon Certification (ISCC) Committee, the environmental information certification and verification agency qualification recognized by CNAS and the civil aviation GHG verification agency qualification, and the National Development and Reform Commission the registered China Voluntary Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Project (CCER) certification agency, the "double carbon" airport evaluation agency registered by the Civil Airport Association and other important qualifications in the field of climate change at home and abroad.
