On November 14, the Shanghai Transportation Commission organized an acceptance review meeting for the project Evaluation of the Use of Shore Power and Environmental Protection Effects of Ships at Ports, and the review team included the Shanghai Combined Port Committee, the Shanghai Development and Reform Commission, the Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration, the Shanghai Navigation Management Office, Leaders and experts from the Shanghai Environmental Monitoring Center, SIPG and COSCO Shipping.
The Shanghai Branch made a detailed report on the project work of "Evaluation of the Use and Environmental Protection Effect of Ships at Harbor", which mainly investigated and studied the use of shore power in Shanghai Port and neighboring provinces and cities, measured the environmental protection effect of shore power, and put forward suggestions and countermeasures for the problems in the use of shore power. The expert group listened to the summary of the project work and reviewed the relevant materials of the project. After inquiry and discussion, the experts believed that the technical route and method of the project research were scientific, the conclusions were credible, the project management was standardized and the materials were complete. The suggestions put forward were of positive significance to the future development of Shanghai Port and Shore Power, and the experts unanimously agreed that the project passed the acceptance.
